The whole policy.
Deckhand runs entirely on your machine. We operate no servers that receive your content, store no copies of your cards or documents, and require no account. Text you choose to convert is processed by the AI assistant you already use, under their policies. License keys are verified offline. That's the whole policy.
The fine print, honestly
What leaves your computer: only what you send through your existing AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Codex…), governed by their terms. Deckhand adds nothing to that pipe.
What we can see: nothing about your study data. If you buy Pro, our merchant of record (Lemon Squeezy) processes payment and shares your email for fulfillment — that's the only record that you exist.
What never happens: analytics on your cards, telemetry pings, "anonymous" usage reports, or an account database that could leak. The architecture makes the promises true instead of enforced by policy.
